Color Cues
Q: I am a newly divorced male and am severely color-blind. For the past 10 years my ex-wife outfitted me and now I am at a loss. Got any tips?
Look on the bright side, this is your chance to completely overhaul your wardrobe and your life. Since setting foot into a big clothing chain may seem daunting (think crowded and chaotic), you'd be better off shopping at a smaller, boutique-y environment, which are known for providing customers with more hands-on service. Also when purchasing, buy your fashion staples (sock, t-shirts) from different brands and make sure to match different brands to different colors. Keeping a small notebook to track your colors will also help. And if you have a confidant or even a weekly housekeeper ask them to help make sure your colors are kept in their designated areas.
