Q: I am a newly divorced father of three, just trying to get my life back in order. Between juggling work, a new home and my kids, it has been extremely difficult to find time to work out. What would be the best 30 minute workout for a solo dad like me?

Fitting a workout into a hectic schedule can certainly be done, and can also act as a de-stressor to help manage your busy day. You want a fitness routine that incorporates both strength and cardio to maximize your time working out. Alternate between jumping jacks, jump rope, high knee lifts while running in place for cardio - and push ups, sit ups, squats, shoulder presses and bicep curls (if at home you can use water bottles as weights) for strength. This will keep the heart pumping and muscles burning. A 30 minute run around the neighborhood will also get your heart rate up and continue burning calories throughout the morning.
