Why take Viagra when you can treat yourself to a bowl of ice cream that promises to boost your libido? That’s right folks, just across the pond a company called the IceCreamists is dishing out a new kind of feel good beauty food - one they claim is chock fill of hormone activating ingredients. The flavor is called the Sex Pistol and it contains ginkgo biloba, arginine and guarana.
Sex-stimulating ice cream may be the latest novelty but it’s not the only beauty food product on the market.
Beautiful Bones Bar: After success with the Instant Bliss Bar (to aid healthy skin) and Woman’s Wonder Bar (to fight off PMS symptoms), Ecco Bella, a skincare and cosmetic company, recently introduced the Beautiful Bones Bar. Made of organic dark Swiss chocolate with hints of orange flavor, this latest beauty food treat contains sea-algae calcium and Vitamins K, D2 and D3 which help to promote calcium absorption.
The Republic of Tea: For those who suffer from a thin/receding hairline or brittle nails, “Get Growing” is a hot elixir that is packed with minerals. Horsetail, oatstraw, nettles and silica are all touted to work to promote hair and nail growth, and are masked by a black limon and peppermint flavor, making it another one of the best beauty foods.
Glowelle: This beauty food brainchild is brought to us by Nestle and promises to fight the signs of aging from “the inside out,” all at 100-calories per serving. Available in ready-to-drink bottles or on-the-go packets, Glowelle comes in two flavors, Raspberry Jasmine or Pomegranate Lychee with antioxidants, botanicals and fruit extracts that some say help even one’s skin tone and protects it from free radicals damage.
Frutels: Contrary to what you may have been told, Frutel asserts that chocolate can now cure pimples! These dark chocolate confectionaries stop zits before they surface by fighting internal source like stress, hormones, and diet. According to the label, Frutels are sugar-free, 100% natural and contain Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Thiamine and Folic Acid. So all you need is 2 to 4 pieces a day to reap the benefits of a beautiful complexion.
Anti-Aging Energy Bar: This energy bar by Rejuvenation contains the anti-aging wonder DMAE (from fish), used for rejuvenating the skin. It also has pomegranate, acai, blueberries and mangosteen, which are all super antioxidants. Though the taste is a little nutty and the cost a bit steep at $3.79, it’s the price one pays for beauty.
