Q: Best Solo Activity?

Reading and listening to jazz

Q: Biggest Accomplishment you achieved on your own?

Graduating from paralegal school two points from honors while being a single mom to a teenage son and a severely handicapped daughter and working full time.

Q: Alone at the movies or in front of the television?

I love both and will do them interchangeably.

Q: Favorite One Dinner Dish?

Lasagna

Q: Personal Safety Starts with?

A prayer, me and my Cell phone

Q: My Perfect Spot.

At the beach waiting for the sun to rise or set.

Q: You recently relocated. What was the biggest challenged you faced moving homes on your own?

Finding the time while working and having two kids to pack. My most helpful tip would be to hire a moving company, which I did for $75/hour, along with hiring a cleaning service to do a once over on both the old place and the new place. An expensive move but certainly worth the price when I considered the fact that I would much rather spend the weekend hanging with my son at a time in his life when he still thinks I'm somewhat cool and, also spending time with my precious daughter.

Q: Best Way to Beat The Blues?

I list five things for which I am thankful when I feel myself becoming sad and/or depressed. Doing this gives me perspective, and things somehow don't seem as bad and/or depressing as I originally believed them to be.

Q: Words to Live By?

You can be sad because roses have thorns or you can be happy because thorns have roses." I don't know who said it, but I love it because it is all in how you choose to perceive something.

Q: How Do You Treat Yourself?
I treat myself every three months to an overnight stay at a luxury hotel of my choice, order room service and a good romance novel.

Q: Must Have Gadget for One?

Little Tool Kit

Q: What Do You Love about Being single?

The freedom to choose what I want to be, do, say, feel, buy, read, date, go, etc., etc. I love being single.
