SATC2 Parties & Premieres Around the Country

To coincide with the premiere of Sex and the City 2, the next few weeks (and months) will be full of events, special deals and festivities to celebrate all you single ladies out there. It’s still not too late to celebrate with your favorite gal pals and here are just some of the happenings you can check out around the country:

Premiers and Parties

New Jersey: The Matinee Club in Milburn New Jersey is sponsoring a ladies-only private screening of Sex and the City 2. The evening will take place on Wednesday June 2nd , with a pre-party at ROXY, the trendy shop on Millburn Avenue where guests can enjoy, wine, hors d'oeuvres and discounted shopping opportunities. The screening will begin at 8 p.m. just next door at Clearview Cinema 4, so show up early for the pre-party.   Tickets are $30 and The Matinee Club will donate a portion of the event's proceeds to the “Dress for Success" Foundation.  More Information...

Chicago: Noir Woman Magazine is inviting ladies in Chicago to a sexy party in the city which includes a VIP movie screening of Sex and the City 2, pink cosmopolitans, movie trivia, sexiest shoe contest and prizes as they celebrate the sexiest women in town. Ladies are encouraged to wear their hottest outfits and highest heels, representing their favorite Sex and the City 2 character. New Orleans: The newly remodeled theater at the Shops at Canal Place will host a midnight showing of SATC2 on May 27. Guests are encouraged to visit the mall on May 26 at 8:00 pm when a DJ will be spinning music and Skyy Vodka will be doling out pink cocktails. There will be a dress-alike contest, with awards for the best outfits inspired by the series. The party is free to the public, but tickets are required for the movie and can be purchased online at TheTheatres.com.

Ventura, California: On May 28th, Fashion Forms will be hosting “WOMEN AND THE CITY” starting at 5:30 pm. The night will include multiple showings of "Sex and the City 2" at the Century Downtown 10 Ventura, pre-parties at local businesses and an after-party at the Aqua Lounge in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Nashville: Another night full of festivities in Nashville and this one is to benefit Women Rock for the Cure to support breast cancer research. The pre-party takes place this Friday May 28th at Yolos restaurant followed by a screening at the Green Hills Regal Cinema at 6:30 pm. Wrap up the evening at one of Nashville’s hottest night spots, Crow’s Nest.   Tickets are $40 a pop but all the proceeds are for a good cause. More Information...

St Louis, MO: ALIVE Magazine’s Fashion Editor, Jill Manoff, will be hosting a SATC2 release party in conjunction with the Spirit of Women St. Luke's Hospital on May 28 from 6 pm to midnight. “Carrie” on with live music, complimentary cocktails from 360 Vodka and Vitaminwater Zero, and a fashion experience by Blush Boutique, Brown Shoe Company and A True Spa. A portion of the proceeds will go to Herbert Hoover Boys & Girls Club. More Information...

Phoenix: On Thursday, May 27, ladies can enjoy premiere movie night with complimentary cosmos and fondue inside the private theater at Harkins Scottsdale 101 Theatre, by The Melting Pot. After the movie premiere, guests are invited to Devil’s Martini, North Scottsdale’s upscale nightclub and will be offered “no cover” with a complimentary Sex and the City martini. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Arizona chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The sexy fun evening’s tickets will be available for purchase at Scottsdale Jean Company for $16 with purchase, and $25 without purchase.
