Some people stick to the classifieds or blind dates, others do their best to promote themselves on internet dating sites. Then there are those who conduct contests or appear on nationwide television shows to find their match.

Now, as if The Bachelor were not enough of a fishbowl plea for fairytale happiness, former advertising executive turned writer/comedian Amy Borkowsky is trying to raise 3 million dollars so she can run her own personal ad during the 2009 Super Bowl.

Call it comical, or brilliant fund raising for the United Way, the non-profit organization which stands to collect all the cash if Ms. Borkowsky does not meet her goal. So far the campaign has raised $2410 since it launched earlier this month.

With only three months to go, chances are The Super Bowl Single Girl will not make it to goal.

So we here at SingleEdition.com were wondering what one could do with all that cash if it were not diverted to charity:

$150,000
: The Super Bowl Single Girl can get a whole new do and win over the hearts of millions of taxpayers by buying Sarah Palin's second hand duds.

$500,000: With a favorable exchange rate, Ms. Borkowsky can stretch her dollars by investing up north. For a quarter million she may be able to buy up some pretty key spots with the Canadian Broadcast Corporation during hockey season. If not, she can always take over some of the rinkside billboards at the Montreal Molson Stadium to score herself a husband.

$1,000,000
: With one million in proceeds, The Super Bowl Single Girl can gift herself with an 8.5 carat statement ring from jeweler-to-the stars, Neil Lane.

$1,500,000: At this rate, Ms. Borkowsky can enlist the services of Oprah's event planner, Collin Cowie, and throw an over-the-top destination bash in Tuscany to reward 30 hot corporate brokers for their stellar year-to-date performances.

$2,500,000: With this kind of coin, The Super Bowl Single Girl can become an equity partner in Single Edition, assuming of course, she stays silent.

Even if she is good on her word, without being snarky, we see one loophole in this publicity stunt. It's just that with so many eyeballs on her website, Ms. Borkowsky can always walk away with the wad of cash she stands to generate from advertising dollars. So if anyone out there is searching for a sugar mama, The Super Bowl Single Girl may just be the woman for you!
