Q: A bunch of friends and I are planning to sublet a house in upstate Vermont this July. We have been told to get insurance but I am not sure what type of coverage we need for a 2 week vacation.

For personal liability, always start by asking the agent or company writing your primary Homeowners or Rental policy if they will extend your existing liability coverage to a secondary rental location. Read your lease closely; the premium that may be required will most likely not be expensive.
