Where To Go for Hugs and Kisses

Q: I am fine with being single it’s the lack of intimacy that kills me. The pleasure of masturbation only goes so far, what’s a man to do if he wants to hold and love a woman but doesn’t have one?

My question is why don't you have a woman to hold and love?  What efforts have you made in the past?  Without knowing your age and history, I can only give a general response.  It's important to get yourself out there and participate in activities, some for the purpose of bringing together like-minded single people, others just as opportunities to have fun and connect.  Hobbies, volunteering, attending religious services, dancing, walking,biking-use your imagination and be open to initiating conversation; you'll have a good time and meet lots of people.  Of course, there's always on-line dating, and some individuals actually have success with that form of introduction.

But perhaps the reason you don't have someone with whom you can be intimate is that you're afraid - - - you might be fearful of successful intimacy (although you desire it) or you may be so anxious of rejection that it keeps you from really making an attempt to get close to someone special.  Think about it.  You sound like a very decent guy.  If you've never had an intimate relationship with a woman or you seem to break up the relationship before it gets too serious, why not talk it over with a therapist.  You know what you're missing and it would be great to have more.
