It’s hard to admit this as a man…Though I love my independence and most aspects of being single the one thing I truly miss and crave is intimacy. Sometimes I wish I had someone to hold onto late at night or a woman to wake up to in the morning. Women seem to emote but for men talking is considered taboo. So, I am hoping I can get some of you feedback from anyone who is listening online.

It's hard to admit period. The holiday season might surprise you and hopefully you'll meet the right person.

It's amazing that you are able to admit how you are feeling. Just so you know, I have many male friends in their late 30's and early 40's who share the same feelings as you but are too afraid to admit it.

Finding a female friend in which you can confide would be helpful. Also, talking through your feelings and venting to some guy friends may open the door to emotions you did not realize most of them had.

Keep posting and writing too....
