A work colleague of mine is heading to NYC for a 1 month consulting gig. Can anyone recommend some restaurants that are good for solo diners?

Here are a few classics: Ouest on 81 and Broadway Cesca on 74th and Amsterdam City Hall in Tribeca BLT Prime

- Aqua Grill is a classic - If you want a casual bistro try French Roast. They have a few locations but they are always packed with solo diners... - Bar Boulud has a communal table which is always a plus! - Scarpetta is great food and fun atmosphere and there ae always singles sitting at the bar eating!

I head up to NYC on my own every once in awhile and I ALWAYS head for Sarabeth's at Central Park. Have your friend ask for a table by the window. Food is FANTASTIC and there's GREAT people watching there.
